TOUGH WINTER
Winter in North Dakota has been tough..On Christmas day we recieved 25 inches of snow..With the below average temps and extra snow it has been impossible to acsess the Page 2 Camera Server..It is located in a remote shed in a pasture..We have about 30 days of critical time before Spring here..We wll have Page 2 up by April 10th and the PTZ cam..Thanks for watching

Moved the position on a couple cameras...Put a Apple Lick Drip bucket at the Ridge Runner...Triple Oak is up at a new location..Meadow Cam was zoomed in and a Log was set out for the Ducks to sit..Trout Pond is Crazy with Wood Ducks..Enjoy!

PUT OUT A HOMEMADE FLOATING DUCK NEST AND FEEDER..THE DUCKS LOVE THE FEEDER..HOPEFULLY SOME WILL NEST ON THE NEST..IT IS IN A AREA WHERE THE YOUNG DONT SURVIVE BECAUSE OF THE PREDATORS ON SHORE..THESE ITEMS WERE BUILT OUT OF SEWER PIPE!..THEY WORK GREAT.

Some friends picked up the shed for us and found other sheds too!! They were from the 6x6 and the 4x4 we call Crazy Larry. The 6x6 scored 67 inches and Crazy Larry scored 56" with a 8" eye guard! Cool!

Winter Activities
Winter has set in..Just a few notes,The Ptz is turned off till spring..We will have 2 running with sound for Turkey Breeding season then..We are feeding Second Cutting alfalfa to the deer in small amounts this winter..We have placed a Peanut Butter Jar at the Ridge Runner and rotated the Thistle Pond Cam to open water..There has been a Mallard hanging out there..Thanks for Watching And Tell a Friend ,Happy Thanksgiving!

About The Cameras
I've had a few requests to explain a little about the Live Camera names and locations. Lets start with the Ohio Waterhole.. Well first, its not in Ohio..A friend and I went hunting in Ohio years ago..This area of the ranch just happened to remind us of where we hunted out there. The waterhole was Dug out in 2003 ..The water level drops every year, but its hanging in there..The Transition and West Transition cameras are in..You Guessed it..A transition area between Bedding and Feeding..There was originally two small meadows (west and east)..I enlarged them in 2007..There is oats, barley and some flax planted this year there..These are Hotspots come Fall and one of our favorite areas to hunt.. The Bird Feeder is located close to our hunting shack and is lit up by a Solar light at night..In a different location is the Trout Pond, Oak Lick and Passage.. The Trout Pond was dug out in the Fall of 2007 and planted this Spring with Brown trout..The camera covers only a small corner of it..Wood Ducks have taken a liking to it this year..23 at once have been seen on camera..Oak Lick and The Passage (feeder cam) are located near by..The Racoons and Birds devour the sunflowers daily..Planted nearby ,is Corn and Sunflowers..Where the meadow Cam will be up soon...My 4 favorite Cams are yet to go Live..Soon!..Thanks For Watching..
